William and Cate represented Tupelo High School at the Mississippi Economic Council's ceremony for Mississippi's STAR Students. These were the kids that had the highest ACT scores in their schools. They both had a 36, so they shared the honor together. They both also were recognized as ALL-STARS (the top 20 students in the entire state). We made fun of them because it seemed like every time we turned around they were on a billboard in town. They made it up there for this, too!
Junior tennis friends Lytle Moore (Jackson Prep) and Charlie Fruge (Oxford High School) also represented their schools.
