hymn festival 2020

william nailed it again.  he walked away from hymn festival 2020 with 10s in every category and two superiors.  it was hard for me to take him seriously when i had abe staring at me from his socks, but he didn't miss a note in his arrangement of it is well!

reed has gotten into all things that involve a hammer, screwdriver, and anything that can build something out of nothing.  his latest creation is a ukulele.  he for real built a ukulele that can be played.  he borrowed a guitar tuner and tuned it, and now we have another instrument in the house!!

happy 2020!

the new decade is here, and we kicked it off right with breakfast at chick-fil-a using up our christmas gift cards!

reed had been dying to make some chocolate covered marshmallows, so he made enough to feed several hundred people.  they ate them all in two days.

i guess william will never play at mamoo and taylor's church again, but he played beautifully at taylor's funeral over the break.

he is trying to teach reed a thing or two on the guitar here and there.  stay tuned for how that turns out!
