1.  for technology while traveling!

3.  that, although it was fun, i do NOT have 8 kids under the age of 5!  :)

this is by no means reed's first haircut.  but as you can tell from the first picture, it has a been a while.  he was majorly shaggy.  now i hardly recognize him.  he's like a new kid.  a big kid.

and after looking at that last picture, apparently i need to make him a dentist appointment as well!  could he have any more teeth in that mouth?!?!

nothing like a little brotherly snack time...

don't let that fool you.  within 2 minutes of finishing that snack, they were back to wrestling each other to the ground.  it was nice while it lasted, though!

a new world

well, i'm officially a member of the apple world.  i'm now an owner of a mac.  that would explain my absence lately.  let's just say that you can't pick up a mac and just hit the road running if you've never been on one before.  let's just say that i wanted to sell mine on ebay one hour after turning it on.  let's just say that i've never felt more stupid in my entire life.  however...thanks to some friends and apple.com, i've managed to get through the initial frustrations.  i can now right click and make folders!  right click...how hard is that?!? crazy, right?!?  anyway, i still have a LONG way to go, but i'm enjoying it for now!

today was the first day that i uploaded pictures off of my camera.  i've been taking it slowly!  i didn't want to get too overwhelmed (read: frustrated), so i waited a bit before hooking up my camera.  i should have done that as my very first step!  it was the easiest thing that i've done so far!  and it didn't hurt that i had these cute people to look at.  despite the fact that william did not want his picture taken!

maybe now i'll get the courage to hook up my phone!  and all you mac users...feel free to give me some pointers.  i'll take all the help i can get!!

we made a day of it!

last saturday, we got to starkville at the crack of dawn.  ok, maybe it was more like lunchtime, but we packed so much into one day that it sure seemed like we'd been there since dawn! 

we watched basketball...

watched baseball...

made our way through the crowds...

tailgated...

loved on the egg bowl trophy...

and bully...

and then pulled the bulldogs through for win #7!!

and just so you know, with a jam-packed day like that...it's much easier to just carry my phone in my pocket and take pictures instead of toting the big camera around.  there's my excuse for the not-so-great picture quality! 

but that picture with bully at the fan fair...the dude had a huge camera on a tripod, and it's a terrible picture.  i don't know what his excuse is! at least the kids in the picture are cute!  :)

i guess he got the "building" gene from G.  all i know is that it was quiet upstairs for about 20 minutes one afternoon last week.  i walk in his room to find this...

i'm pretty sure there's no way that i could sit down and construct that.  G, your own sons didn't take over your business, but can you hang in there until your grandkid gets out of college?!?  if he doesn't end up in engineering,  maybe you can teach him how to build houses!!
