 the ones that did not go to DC got to spend the day in corinth learning about the civil war at shiloh.  history is right up reed's alley, but he didn't think too much of the civil war general's strategies!  

10 for tupelo

 we participated in 10 for tupelo again this year.  i think it's chase's favorite thing to do....pick up trash.  lawndale street was immaculate (for one day anyway)!

when you have cool friends....

basketball season

 reed finished up his last year of elementary basketball, and he really enjoyed it towards the end.  at the beginning, they only got to play the other tcps teams which is no fun.  then he came to life when we got to play other teams! they won most of them, lost a few, and learned how to be scrappy against those mantachie mustangs!

poker buddies

 i got a picture from reed's teacher one morning.  reed was teaching his buddies how to play cards.  i'm not sure if we were teaching them blackjack or poker, and i'm sure this frowned upon at the christian school.  but, they all seemed happy!

tennis season

 school tennis has come and gone.  unfortunately, oxford is in our district and madison central is in the north half....so that means getting to state is a tough draw for us.  it was a weird season, too.  they had only one weekend where they played in normal weather conditions....they got really good at freezing, snowing, rainy, and windy conditions.  oh well....back to tournament tennis!
