stringer

william finally learned all of the ins and outs of racket stringing, and he put the stringer to use on his first solo mission.  it wasn't a fast undertaking, but he has since strung another one and made some progress in the time department!  it won't be long until he is spitting them out!

now he just needs some customers!

take me out to the ballgame

baseball is over.  it was a fun season.  freezing at the beginning.  killer hot at the end.  not very much in between!!  ha!

reed's lost pizza team won a lot more than they lost, and he made a name for himself at 2nd base and pitcher!

1st double play of the season...

wes' nationals team won a lot more than they lost, too.  they ended up losing in the finals of the tournament to those dadgum pirates.  they seem to end our season every year.  but wes found his groove at new positions this year...first base and pitcher!

and one night, oradini came to watch him play.  not really.  he was there with his girlfriend who was baby-sitting for somebody.....but, we pretended that he was there to watch wes!!

at the end of the season, his all star team played in a few tournaments.  they went old school one night and all wore their own uniforms.  pretty cool look!

so that's a wrap for baseball.  good year for it....successful park and rec teams, and the bulldogs made a run in omaha!  until next year....
