we didn't shoot our own fireworks this year.  we watched TCC's display instead, and they didn't disappoint.   go America!!

and they are off...

william broke every bracket, wire, and chain on multiple occasions, and i'm sure those braces stayed on for months longer than they had to.  but, he is now free from a mouth full of metal!  and, he has a sweet smile to show for his two years of endurance!!

victory ranch 2019

another fun time was had at victory ranch this summer.  there was lots of lake time and lots of shooting each other, along with staying up late and playing cards.  everybody wants to go back!

i managed to get a picture of each of them in their cabins before we left, and i got one picture on pick up day.  all the others are screen shots from the camp photographer.

coke tour

the coke tour 2019 was fun once again.  we didn't make all of the tournaments, but we had fun in the few that we played.  this was reed's last year to have a caddie, so i shook his hand for the final time on that last green as his caddie.  it was the end of an era for sure.  i feel like i've been a caddie for a million years.....because i have.  oh well.  i will watch from the cart path from now on!

i don't have many pictures this year because chase was never able to go at the same time as me.  so, i never got to ride around with my good camera and get pics.  but, a few phone pics will do.

but the favorite tournament of the year is shiloh ridge in corinth.  and, it has nothing to with the course.  there are lots of hazards and water everywhere, but there is borroum's!!  and, no matter how you play in corinth....milkshakes at borroum's always make you leave town with a smile.  reed just had extra smiles this time because he finished third there!

and, that's a wrap on summer golf.  now i have a year to figure out how to go to a golf tournament and not caddie.  should be interesting!!

southerns

the highlight of the summer in our tennis world was going to macon, georgia, to play in southerns.  however, the weather didn't exactly like us while we were there.  this is what welcomed us to town.  i took this picture from our hotel room when we checked in.

and it rained off and on for days!!!!!  they would get the courts dry, we would get on them for 20 minutes, and then it would rain again.  my phone was blowing up the entire time with news of 4 hour delay...6 hour delay...8 hour delay....canceled for today....show up tomorrow.  over and over again.  they did get a few matches in somewhere between all the storms.  and, they got to watch a few good matches as well.

we pulled up to the courts one afternoon ready to play, and as soon as we got in the parking lot....this. somebody said, "hey, look!  it's a raindrop!"

 so, we left to go bowling and play laser tag.  this team may be good at tennis, but they sure stink at bowling!!!  ha!  i think they fared a little better with weapons and laser tag!

but, it wasn't all bad!  we did find the ice cream, of course!

and, we look forward to representing mississippi again next summer!!
