this isn't really newsworthy, but it's worth remembering for the pure strangeness of it! we had a visitor one night. reed yelled at me because i needed to come kill a scorpion. i rolled my eyes at wes because do we even have scorpions in mississippi? yes. yes, we do. who knew??
my bug killing skills went out the window. i in turn hollered for chase to come kill the scorpion. he thought we were all crazy until he saw it, too. mr. scorpion is now squished and down the toilet. and thankfully, we haven't seen any of his relatives.
