I don’t know if Reed inspired William or what, but he decided to take up running. When the school year started, he began getting up with the chickens and running before school every day. Turns out, he’s pretty good! He picked the LeBonheur Pumpkin run for his first ever race. And, he made the podium.
Next up was the Parkgate 5k. He won the whole thing even though it was very hilly. He said his legs actually help in the hills because he can get up them more easily than the shorter people! Reed ran in this one, too, and actually made friends with an ultra marathoner that has been a fun encourager to him!
Reed and his friends took on the Jingle Bell 5k.
