after the crawfish boil, we headed to atlanta for a few nights. on the way, we visited auburn (for the third time),
we visited UGA (it was a no!),
and went to a game in the braves/dodgers series. we had one of those moments that will forever come up while on a road trip. after typing in the hotel address into the maps app, i began to navigate us to it. and we drove and drove and drove. our hotel was by the baseball field, so chase kept saying, "i don't think this is anywhere near the baseball field. this doesn't look right." i had never been to the new braves stadium, so i was just following the app. i didn't miss a single turn, followed every direction perfectly, and led us straight to a house in a very nice neighborhood in the sandy springs area! there was no hotel anywhere near. we laughed and wondered if we should just go knock on this door and ask them if they had a reservation for us! i have no what happened. but, it was obviously put into the app incorrectly! i took a picture as proof that i am a fabulous navigator......i cannot help it if the directions that we are following are not right!
that pin right there is nowhere near where it's supposed to be, but it is labeled correctly!
we did make it to the hotel and the game. dodgers won!
the maps app did lead us straight to the chick-fil-a for breakfast the next morning on the way home, so i guess we will forgive it for it's hotel mistake!
