christmas

we kicked off the christmas holiday in madison at honey and g's.  we made our way over to reunion on friday night to look at the christmas lights, and they didn't disappoint.  we even hopped out to take a picture with the dancing santa on the front porch!

we put the fire pit to use before the rain hit!

christmas day brought more presents!!  but, i had to get the top of the stairs picture, first!

reed got sushi maker.  he was excited to put it to use.

random december happenings

reed got his teachers a unique gift for christmas this year.  we put money on their cafeteria accounts so they could eat a couple of free meals/snacks on us.  mrs. sapp was pretty excited.  i don't think anyone had ever given her that before!

william and walker played a beautiful arrangement of o, come all ye faithful together.  it was his first duet, and it was hard to practice when your partner is a senior in college and doesn't live here!  but, they played it perfectly.

wes had a christmas program at school.  he was less than thrilled.  they were supposed to sing AND dance, and well....i don't think the music teacher thought that through very well when she thought that would be a good idea for 12 year old boys.

reed's basketball team has played a few weekends and has won more than they've lost.  plus, they're cute!

presbytery youth conference

each december our presbytery has a youth conference with all of the other churches at victory ranch.  we already love victory ranch from summer camp, so getting to spend another weekend there is just a bonus.  this is the second time that william has been, and it still gets two thumbs up!

thanksgiving at the beach

we spent thanksgiving at the beach with the henson crew again this year.  we ended up in a different house, but it worked out great because we got to ride bikes a ton!  i didn't take a ton of pictures, but we did it all....swimming, beach, bikes, farmers market, dog show, and donuts!  add in 75 degree weather with sunshine, and it couldn't get much better!

and abe was glad to see us when we got home!!
