our family march madness brackets are always a big deal each year. as soon as all the conference tournaments are over, we all make our picks and the trash talking begins. each and every person on the henson side participates....grandparents, aunts, uncles, uncle's brothers, cousins, a few friends, and even the household pets. last year we all lost to a dog.
this year, however, the smallest tupelo henson pulled out the win. it came down to him and the smallest jackson henson and the final game. reed chose north carolina, and he may have done a happy dance around the breakfast table when he realized that he had won! he definitely put in the work! he watched every game with his bracket and highlighter in hand.
and he was all smiles with the victory!
i think i came in last again. but, at least i lost to a human this year!!
