cutthroat

we spent a few days in inverness last week.  the kids stayed busy.  they even learned how to drive.  not very well, mind you, but i guess it's a start!!!  :)

they also spent some time climbing trees,

just hanging around,

playing with the dogs,

and playing with fire.

also, we have developed a tradition of playing croquet.  this is not your leisurely, backyard game of croquet.  even taylor joins in.

and it isn't considered a successful game unless some tears are shed.  it's cutthroat!  we take our croquet seriously!

and this time i actually remembered to take a picture before mamoo and taylor left!  i love this picture!

and now if you'll excuse me, i need to go work on my side shot through the wickets.  i can't let my kids beat me.  i'm sure that day is coming, but they are going to have to earn it themselves.  no handouts from this mama!!!  :)
