and now some outdoor play...

ok...so in the last post, i stated that we play inside when it's cold. and that is true. unless there is snow. snow makes it possible to enjoy the outside when all you are worrying about inside is that your pipes are going to blow up like the neighbor up the street and cause a huge mess in your house and your yard. but, i'm trying to not think about it every 30 seconds or so.

anyway, shortly after we got up this morning...it started snowing.

as you can see, there isn't much on the ground at this point. but after breakfast, it looked more like this...


there was even enough to make a snow angel...

and a baby, baby, itty-bitty baby snowman...


and have a snowball fight...


don't worry, they were all still on good terms after the fight...


there is more snow expected for next week, and if i get to see these happy faces again, i guess i'll be ok with this winter chill...

as long as i have some hot chocolate. and my pipes don't burst.
