tubing with harrisburg

reed spent the weekend before school started at the lake with his harrisburg friends.  judging by the one picture i got, i'd say it was a good time!

 

club championship

 wes lost the club championship by one stroke.  he and baylor went back and forth for two days, but he says he'll get him next year!

orange beach

 we spent a week at orange beach in july and had a blast.  we finally figured out to eat out at lunch when it's cheaper and not as crowded and just eat whatever in the condo at night.  i don't think we'll be able to switch back!

they loved the hot tub.  loved it. 

i got my first ever hole in one at craft farms.  glad they were there to witness it.  

trying oysters for the first time.  they didn't hate them, but i don't think they'll be ordering them over all the other good food!

waiting on our boat to parasail.  this was something we had never done before.  i don't think any of us realized how high up you go when you do it, but they loved it and saw all kinds of things in the water while up there.  

we also got up super early one morning to go off shore fishing.  this was something else that we had never done.  none of us realized how much "hunting" had to go into the fishing, but it was really fun to find them.  and super hard to reel them in.  they are big!  and heavy!

we ended up with a few free points on the card for arcade games.  skee ball and basketball connect 4 were a hit.  

we had such a good time with no agenda and just playing around as the main goal.  we also went through two boxes of ice cream sandwiches, so i guess it was a good week all around!

the 4 stooges

 the 4 stooges set up and entertained at the opening of the new TCC pool.  it was hot, but they were a hit!

hungry

 what is meant to be an appetizer for multiple people is a mid-day snack for wes.  it's hard to feed these people around here.  

reed turns 14

It’s the quiet caboose’s day! He is the foodie of the group and is always asking what the next meal is going to be while eating the current one. He absolutely knows his way around a kitchen and is a dessert master! He loves his friends, camp, sleep, and watching the Dodgers almost every night. He can’t get enough of books. (Somebody help….he’s read everything here and at the library.) He’s always got the 70s/80s rock going on his AirPods, and he is always willing to help with whatever you need. His mowing strategies are suspect, but that’s ok. He’ll get plenty of practice! Happy birthday, Reed!
