wes and mason pitted their own neighborhoods against each other to collect toiletry donations for the junior auxiliary clothes closet. they made a graphic and everything! the ladies at the clothes closet were so excited, and i am pretty sure that they won't have buy bar soap for a very long time!! we learned that if you want people to participate, you have to appeal their competitive sides! who knew?!?
we took advantage of the last morning before school started back to go get our annual chick-fil-a breakfast. if they ever didn't get a chick-fil-a gift card in their stocking on christmas morning, i think there might be some tears!
william and wes brought in the new year with their friends. in a tux. with lots of smiles!
gwen and i dressed the little shepherds and such for the 497th year in a row.
structure got a new guitar. william played it for an entire day and night solid when it came in. he's a fan.
william "had" to go to the nutcracker to watch lacey. with flowers in tow. :)

reed and wes headed to como to bring home some sausage. wes was holding out for a buck but never saw one. reed took the first one he saw because he likes sausage!

reed and his buddies hit the ice skating rink for a little bit. thankfully, they all returned in one piece!
we got a new Blackstone griddle. it is fantastic, and we have cooked everything possible on it. william manned it one night for chicken fried rice.
a last minute decision to go to Birmingham for transiberian orchestra was a great decision!
