MS Junior State Am

Wes decided to hit the golf circuit this summer instead of the tennis circuit.  He's had so much fun playing at all of the places.  He kicked off the summer with the MGA Jr. State Amateur.  He had a great 3 days with the best players in Mississippi! 

 

Convocation and Lionel

We started the day in the PAC for the TPSD end of the year convocation and ended it in Birmingham with a last minute Lionel Richie concert!!  William asked if I wanted to go Birmingham, so we bought tickets even though I was skeptical.  I shouldn't have been.  He's STILL got it!!!

Baccalaureate Sunday

 

Blessed are the Peacemakers 5k

Reed ran a really cool 5k that honored the men in blue.  The start was lined with cars from surrounding counties, and they all held signs of those who had died in the line of duty.  And....he ran really fast this day!!  

 

Golden Wave team Olympics

The last week of school I am pretty sure that nobody actually did any work.  All of the sports teams divided up and had the Golden Wave Olympics where they played all sorts of random games.  Wes' orange team apparently dominated the tug-o-war!  Ha! 

 

TCPS awards

Reed came home with the Algebra 1 and the Cyber foundations awards.  Here's to hoping he carries the good study habits with him into high school!!
