william's game

as i mentioned earlier, baseball is killing me.  i mean...it's just hard to have kids on different teams that play at the same times.  i missed william's first game, but miss hayley kept me in the loop with a few pics.

i finally got to see william play baseball this past thursday night.  after two years of t-ball/coach pitch, we have moved up to the big leagues this year.  it's still coach pitch, but we have umpires, we keep score, and you only get 3 outs.  that works out well for our team (we can hit).  it didn't work out so well for our opponents this game.  i don't know if we just had a good night or what.  i guess i'll find out at the next game!

he scooped up this ball and beat the runner to home plate for the out!

he hit a double on his last at bat.  "it went all the way to the outfield in the air!"  poor kid...it could have been a home run if he had any speed!!  luckily, his daddy walked up just in time and got to see him hit. he was excited!

i like to see them having so much fun, but man...all these games being played at the same time/back to back is wearing me out.  (the season just started.)  i'm going to go crazy in 2 years when i have 3 kids on 3 different teams.  i guess i'll be looking at this for a really long time...
