school tennis has come and gone. unfortunately, oxford is in our district and madison central is in the north half....so that means getting to state is a tough draw for us. it was a weird season, too. they had only one weekend where they played in normal weather conditions....they got really good at freezing, snowing, rainy, and windy conditions. oh well....back to tournament tennis!
well, this was a first for this house of boys! structure is the backup for synergy (tupelo high school's showchoir), and they hit the road for competition season. this year's show was "letters from war," and they did a great job with it. they won every single place they went! we don't know any different, but apparently that is not the the norm!
william really loves this group of guys. they are so much fun to be around and play with! nashville and the gaylord opryland hotel was the favorite road trip of the year!
the bubble is coming down next week, but we've gotten our money's worth out of it this winter. reed and reid jumped in the last tournament...
wes and land braved the cold on the courts for a big tournament in jackson. they act like it's not cold with their refusal to wear clothes, but all of the blankets and portable heaters being carried around by the parents beg to differ! we are ready for some warm weather!
reed spent the weekend in a deer stand towards the end of the season. nothing ended up dead that weekend except a bobcat! ha! but, he had a great time!
william and tom henry represented lawndale and structure at hymn festival this year. they were in the last group and the only boys. and...they showed out! they both got superiors in all 4 categories for a total of 8 blue stickers!
