ornaments

we decorated the tree in november this year, so everybody got their ornaments a little early.  each one fits them perfectly again this year!

reed got tacos!  william got a guitar!  wes got a boy with braces!

perfection.

wes' turn

wes got his braces (and a not fun looking appliance) right before thanksgiving.  he's been a trooper, and he is happy to be on his way to the perfect smile!

mr. fix it

give him a hammer, a drill, and some wood, and he is happy for hours!

warm toes

thank goodness for the fireplace after playing outside!!

msu football

remember those few good years that we had with dak?  yeah.  those are gone.  we are now back to our regularly scheduled program, but we still make the trip and cheer on the bulldogs.

thankfully, they have re-designed a few things, so we can come and go freely from the M club building this year.  it's nice for weather issues!

this particular game we actually sat on the surface of the sun.

and the following week, i didn't even leave the inside.  one week of sitting on the sun was enough for me!

reed makes good use of his time at the buffet.

my favorite halftime show of the year...

and Bulldog Burger makes us feel better after the losses!

come on basketball season (baseball season?  volleyball season?), we're ready for you!

the dome

tupelo has a sweet new gym that they just opened.  it serves as a tornado shelter and a pretty awesome place to play basketball.  william went to midnight madness to kick off basketball season and said it was pretty cool.  i have been in a lot of gyms in my life, but i have definitely not played in a high school gym that looks like this!  these kids don't know what it's like to dress in a locker room under the bleachers where you have to duck and freeze because there's no heat!!  i guess it's a good year to be a part of the wave.

allergy test

wes spent one day last week being a pin cushion.  he had a strange reaction to a med a little bit ago, and we were told to make sure that we documented on everything that he was allergic to penicillin.  i really didn't like that because i didn't think it was a true allergy, so we did a penicillin challenge to make sure that he wasn't actually allergic.  we scheduled it on a day that he got to miss a christmas concert that his class had to sing in and be a part of, so he was very happy to get out of that.

it took a few hours, but he came out a winner because he is NOT allergic! and a chick fil a iced coffee didn't hurt afterwards either!
